Il terremoto del 2016 ha causato un vuoto immenso nell’economia e un senso di smarrimento nella vita quotidiana delle nostre comunità e nei luoghi in cui la nostra vita sociale si svolgeva: la piazza, il teatro, il palazzo comunale e, soprattutto, le chiese, che rimangono per i nostri paesi un centro di socialità oltre che di fede e devozione. Abitando in una zona sismica, siamo abituati a reagire con accettazione, resistenza e tenacia, e abbiamo sempre fatto in modo che la vita continuasse a rifiorire. Il 11 giugno 2022, siamo rinati attraverso la bellezza con la realizzazione del Museo Diocesano, MARec Museo dell’Arte Recuperata, e abbiamo ritrovato la speranza e il tempo per credere nel futuro.
The earthquake of 2016 caused an immense void in the economy and a sense of disorientation in the daily lives of our communities and in the places where our social life took place: the square, the theater, the town hall, and especially the churches, which remain, for our towns, a center of social interaction as well as faith and devotion. Living in a seismic zone, we are accustomed to reacting with acceptance, resilience, and tenacity, and we have always ensured that life continued to blossom. On June 11, 2022, we were reborn through beauty with the creation of the Diocesan Museum, MARec Museum of Recovered Art, and we rediscovered hope and the time to believe in the future.
